Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
A privacy-focused site should hold itself to the standard it writes about. Here is exactly what secure-os.org does with your data.
What we collect
- No accounts, no comments, no newsletters — we have no database of users.
- Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) processes IP addresses and request metadata to serve and secure the site. Retention follows Vercel's privacy policy.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, country-level location, referrers). We do not use it for advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies for aggregate measurement. You can block them with any content blocker — the site works identically without them, and we encourage you to do so if that matches your threat model.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links (marked, and documented in our affiliate disclosure). They route through a redirect on this domain to the partner's tracking system. What the partner collects after you land on their site is governed by their own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you may request access to or deletion of personal data. Since we keep no user database, in practice this concerns hosting and analytics data: contact us and we will assist.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date above.
